Yes, but Twitter is moronic.

It is moronic, and the only people really embracing it are old people.

Old people posting typo-ridden idiotic status updates is not the Future of anything, except maybe the rest homes of the next decade. A million teevee viewers following Oprah Winfrey's messages for a few weeks is the equivalent of what's her name, that other fat lady with the talk show, promoting whatever candy snack she enjoyed stuffing down her throat that particular week. It's this summer's Beanie Babies.

And it's too complicated for the old morons who try to use it, which is proven by the *daily* public embarrassments as these fools -- often Republican congressmen who can't operate a cell phone -- are constantly apologizing for the dumb bullshit they "didn't mean to send."

It warms my heart that Twitter usage is already nosediving. It gives me some mild hope for our Idiocracy World that all but a few people quickly abandon Twitter after signing up.
